My Story: Murder in the Town Hall.

***Murder at the town hall***Image result for town hall
Seamus McCann
Huh? Thought the Mayor as he heard a creaking sound behind him.
He whipped around. There behind him was a man in a black suit with a mask on. He held a gleaming chef’s knife.
“Time to meet your doom, Mayor Henry!”  The man threatened.
“Nooooooo!!!!!!!” Screamed the mayor as the knife was shoved into his chest all the way.  The Mayor withered in pain as the life drained out of him. The murderer, quietly excited out of the room using one of the town hall windows with a smile on his face. Nobody else heard anything that night.

Upon opening the Mayor’s door the next morning the assistant screeched in surprise as she stood in a wet puddle of blood. Slowly scanning the room, she found the source of the blood. There, sitting in his own blood lay the unmoving Mayor with a thin jagged hole in his chest. She ran over and felt his pulse. He was long gone. The woman screamed as hard as she could. Suddenly, the door was kicked open.  There stood the murderer from last night. In his hand, he held the gleaming chef’s knife again. Thud!!! Went the knife as it was embedded through her eyeball.
(Not pretty) It went straight through her eye and into her brain  She slumped to the ground no longer thinking.

Later that day, the Deputy Mayor turned up for work. Upon smelling the released body waste in the mayor’s office he wrinkled his nose in disgust.
What is that smell? He asked himself. He went to go and investigate. He walked upstairs and into the Mayor’s office. Open seeing the dead bodies he picked up the phone and called “027 453 564” ( The Detective )
“Help! The mayor’s been murdered!”
“Ok, I’ll come around” said the Detective

The Detective came around a couple of hours later with a forensics team and seven guards with PP-19 Bizon submachine guns. “Go!” he shouted to his team. They took off and went to look for clues.

Two hours later one of his team ran out of the Mayor’s room and shouts he found something. It was the Chef’s knife! It was coated in dry blood and fingerprints. “Let’s get that tested,” said the detective. They all drove to the Forensics laboratory.

Once the fingerprints and blood had been tested they had a suspect. Here it is:
 The Gardener.
See, the Murderer had made a big mistake. The mayor had been a very important person. So, a country man-hunt was started. All the police in the country were put on High Alert.

Days past. Nothing was happening. Until one morning when the Detective got a phone call informing that the Gardener had been caught
“Bring him here” he said.
When the Gardener had arrived at the Police Headquarters he was strapped to the interrogation chair. The detective started interrogating him but we are going to skip that boring part. In the end the Gardener was found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging.

Reflection:
I enjoyed this maths project because I had fun and I was rich. And I did it with my friend who was pretty rich too. And I learn how to be responsible with money and found out how hard it is for my parents And how not to get in financial difficulty. Most of my classmates did not earn as much as I did in their job and got into debt.

Kindness Quote

I chose this quote because it is effective and makes an impact on the world. It is about Kindness and we had to choose a quote from a list that Mrs Ellmore gave us.
